Background: Grew up in Southern Cal, been fishing on my dad's boats
since I was a kid. Caught my first local marlin in 1988. Bought my kayak in
2003, so I could fish more often during the week.
Accomplishments:
- Two line class IGFA world records. 34.8lb halibut on 4#, and 20.0lb
yellowtail on 8#.
- Only person known to have caught mexican limit of albacore from kayak
- Top 10 finish in kayak's premier year long WCW tournament
- Have landed 30+lb albacore, halibut, yellowtail, white sea bass and
thresher sharks from kayak
- Known in La Jolla as the "Iron Master" and "Yoyo King" for
proficiency in catching big yellowtail on iron

- July '03 catching mexican limit of albacore in one day
- November '04 catching two 100+lb thresher sharks in one day
- December '05 catching 4 25# yellowtail in one day at La Jolla
- January '06 catching 43# yellowtail
