Often referred to as the sanctuary, the cove is one of the major attractions that bring kayakers to La Jolla. Whether it is your first time or you are a seasoned veteran, kayaking in La Jolla’s famous cove is an experience that cannot be matched.  The cove is home to sea lions, harbor seals, and a large variety of birds, not to mention the California state maritime fish the garibaldi which all can be seen while out on the water in a kayak.
